Zetec RWD conversion

I am building a kit car that is RWD, and I am planing to install a Zetec engine. I went and got a Borg Warner T-5 transmission out of a Mustang, but it does not bolt up to the block. I have read that the bell housing bolt pattern is the same sines the 1960's. So can anybody please give me some advice on with bell housing I can get that will bolt up the Zetec block? Any help will greatly be appreciated.

Many Thanks

Just a thought

Xetchx is right, that big of a tranny will suck up a ton of your torque. It was made for an engine twice our size lol.

Check UK sites and Lotus 7 kit sites. Caterham was using Zetecs in RWD configuration so they should have info on where to get one- I'm fairly sure that the T-5 is what is used.

Keep us updated. I am interested in the t5 trans in my project.Didn't the rangers have a 5 speed for the 2.3 dura. I think it is a M50 r1. Not sure and the 2.3 might have a different pattern.
