its possible but on a duratec its gonna be a diferent procedure than with a zetec. zetecs use all the same standard mounts where in the duratecs the atx sits back an inch towards the firewall.

Yeah, as far as I know it's near impossible (or really uneconomical) on a Zetec engine, but the Duratec would probably be even harder since the two engines are in different locations. There's a whole slew of parts you need to change for this.

i think you should learn to spell manual first

manuel is spanish for greg or something ;)

1. transmission
2. axels
3. mounts
4. shift linkages
5. shifter
6. clutch
7. flywheel

it's going to be near impossible or an incredible amount of money to do the swap

Its easy to do a swap.

1) Find a Focus with a manual tranny
2) Make your best deal
3) Secure financing from a bank (or pay cash if you can)
4) Drive away and enjoy your manual transmission swap

Seriously though, if you want a manual transmission bad enough, just buy a new car, not worth changing it out.

I think you should learn how to spell axle first. Following your list, in addition to all of the necessary hardware for the swap, one would also arrive at the conclusion that you'd need at least two people with the name Axel.

In fact, I think it would be a good idea for you to stop criticizing the spelling or gramatical errors of others all together, considering that every time you do so you make one (or several) of your own.
