MK3 Turbo 238 / 206 (Dyno Added)

Had a MK3 Turbo on the dyno today and it made 238hp and 206 TQ and only went to 6500 and HP was still going , holding over 200tq still at 6500 and that was 10-11 psi

This is also with the same cosi knock off intake that lost 19 hp on the NA engine so it could be hurting it with boost as well but dont have time to test with the stock intake right now , even if its hurting it 10 hp/tq that means it would be 248/216 which would be impressive at 10-11 psi

None the less , I am happy so far with 238/206

Kinda pleased

Tom

Is this car stock internals aswell? And is this the same guy that's been running it for a few years with the DCT?

I feel its better because the TQ comes on at about 3800-4000 and stays flat till I let off at 6500 where the ST TQ falls on its face after 4200 , HP at 6500 was just hitting peek , more boost and TQ would come on sooner and HP would carry out to 7300 still climbing which is ideal

20psi with this would easily be north of 320

I wish I had time to go back to the stock intake and see if it didnt pick up HP and TQ

Either way I am pleased

Once you learn the weighting factors , Optimal Power settings and the HDFX with these cams its amazing what they will do , understanding them and taking the time to adjust each point takes for ever tho , 6 hrs on the dyno and about 15% completed lol

I will try to get a dyno sheet posted when I finish up tomorrow , it has a sweet TQ curve one of the best on a Focus of all the years making turbo kits and tuning them

Were leaving it at this boost for now and running it a few months then upping it more to see what she will take

Good numbers, thats wheel hp, correct? Lot less torque then the ecoboost but that will mean a DCT should be able to handle it.

If you have time to switch, that would really help me know if the TTR may also be much better under boost so at least I can stop using it as a paperweight.
