DO NOT disconnect the front o2

I have been seeing more and more where people installing headers on the MK3 are disconnecting there front o2 , some because it wont reach some because there is only one o2 hole further down the header

ALWAYS us the front o2 and leave the back o2 unhooked , if you have to look at some of the Mustang supply places and they sell o2 wiring extensions that are just plug and play

From a engine management view, not running the front 02 sensor would be pretty careless for the engine in the long run.

Good warning, Tom would be the first to see that when getting a datalog for tuning.

With all the talk about getting a CEL for not having all the sensors hooked up & turning it off with a tune, some might not understand which is the important one to remain.

That has a lot to do with it sailor , some of the MK3 headers only have one hole in them and the rear one reaches the easiest I am hearing so people dont know , they think one o2 hooked up there good to go where it MUST be the front o2 that get hooked up

When at the store I had people tell me you didn't need the front one all the time. People who were messing with their cars without even knowing how they work I might add.
