Replacement air intake elbow piece

K, I have seen these, anyone have feedback? I think they look like they don't flow that great, reduced diameter in the middle.. maybe better then stock piece but not much? And anyone seen similar or something made cheaper? Feedback appreciated.

I think the mst intake hose looks a lot less restrictive than the stock piece. But then again that doesn't necessarily mean it makes any HP. With that said, it's definitely on my list of super awesome warranty voiding mods that I intend to purchase. :-)

Unless the dealership can prove it had anything to do with an issue that comes up its not going to void your warranty...

On that note. From the guys who've installed it they're all happy. I have a feeling it's mostly dress up but I do know it is less restrictive because it's smooth as opposed to the stock piping.

I think that part would be perfect combined with an intake that doesn't replace the stock elbow, but $60? I swear I've seen the same thing, but much cheaper

It's a custom fit silicone part. $60 is a fair price I'd say. If the typhoon didn't have a smooth elbow pipe I'd totally try to get one of these to work.

There might be a slight difference but I don't think it'd show up on a dyno. Dyno autocorrects to dunk btw lol.

It's a nice piece for engine dress up at the very least.

Ive made a few custom intakes, in some cases there are gains to be had replacing ribbed, stock Intake parts....in this case it may not make a huge difference, but still worth doing.

I would imagine there is a slight intake volume increase as the stock one dampens the noise.
