New Steeda parts for the ST (fit the n/a?)

Has anyone brought up wether or not the new steeda intake manifold spacer or throttle body spacer is any benefit or will even work with the n/a?

Nope, it would not fit as the intake manifold is completely different between the N/A and the ST.

That answers the intake manifold spacer but aren't the throttle bodies the same? Especially if the ported TB bolted on from the thread a few months ago.

The throttle body may be the same, but the orientation and mounting is still different to the intake manifold. Even so there is not much benefit especially to their rifling on their throttle body spacer.

There is a reason why this is a bad idea, and it's that it's snake oil much like a tornado fuel saver device, any attempts at swirling the air prior to going into the intake manifold are next to useless except as bling and a heat soaking device.

Steeda isn't impressing me, with "Bling" type products seeming to be their specialty.

The more I read about this company, the less I love them. Their parts seems useless, sometimes copied, sometimes direction parts are breaking, sometimes transmission parts. I know where I won't buy.

We offer full lines of suspension parts, performance parts, etc.

Our customer indicated that there was a demand for dress up parts & other "bling" parts ... we listened to them & provide a nice line of products that will compliment the Focus.

Best Regards,

TJ

I am sorry you feel that way ... we have developed many parts that have taken the Focus to the next level.

I can assure you, based on feedback from the boards & our customers, parts breaking happen on rare occasion.

Do parts break, yes. Are there many factors that go into a part breaking, yes. From install, to maintenance, to a how a vehicle is driven are all factors.

We take these matters very seriously & work closely with the customers to resolve any issues that may develop.

We have a lot of loyal & happy customers ... hopefully some day you can try our parts & see for yourself.

Best Regards,

TJ

I have asked our engineers, who designed the part & worked with the data to help provide some insight why this part was released & the benefits to the design.

Best Regards,

TJ

I was about to order the short shifter for my SE. Then I saw some guys with broken transmission adapters.
Or parts needing modifications. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1NrVRCP7dPw
Broken adjustable toe link on the ST forum. Etc...

I'm not here to bash (too much) and if you can convince me that the STS for the SE is a great part, I might even buy it.
