I'd be impressed to see an ST in the 12s as it seem they are rare to be seen in the 13s.

I kind of wish I waited, I just looked and saw on cars.com there are dealers selling ST1 base cars for $20,000. I still really like my car but more power is good!

Not around here or I would have bought one lol. Actually Im happy with my SE, I like the gas mileage. Plus none of the dealers around here have base cars, seems they all ordered the loaded ones

The problem with most direct gas injected cars going turbo is that the fuel system seems to need the most upgrades to support the new power levels. Until those fuel upgrades are researched and in place, I don't see a whole lot happening with non-ST turbo Foci. A few one-offs are bound to pop up using supplemental port fuel injection along with the stock direct injection, or even complete port injection swaps. But most people probably aren't willing to go that far, they want bolt-on kits, and adding port injection is just a bit tougher than that. A fully engineered kit is hard to wait for, but well worth it in my book.

The direct injection and high pressure fuel pump have not been road blocks on the ST.

They have, actually, but that's on a big turbo car shooting for 500+ horse. The base fuel system in the ST has been proven good to around 450 whp. But even then, all that needs upgraded is the hpfp. Wonder if the ST fuel system would transfer to the NA

From some friends that are working on it, the 2.0 Ecoboost HPFP can be upgraded with the 3.5 Eco HPFP too, so there's more power to be had there. I have not seen or heard about any comparisons to the NA direct injection parts.

I have the know how and tuning to make a NA to turbocharged to about 400 to 450 hp , that isnt a big deal to do
