How about this? Instruction guide with how to install and an engine pic towards the end... At least you'll get an idea of what you'll have to do to install the Injected one.

Not a chance. A correctly built heat shield and a scoop and/or ducts will funnel cool outside air directly to the filter. SR's tend to dyno better than CAI's because all of that long tubing is a restriction to flow compared to a shorter tube of the same diameter for the SR.

So the only difference becomes cool air supply and we can ensure this is being supplied to the SR intake by logging IAT's. For me, I do a lot of highway driving, like 30K a year, so heatsoak has never been and never will be an issue, so I will never waste my money on a CAI. Especially on a turbo car (someday).

So at highway speeds do you get a 1.8 degree difference between ambient and IAT temps like I do?

Why don't we all just settle this by cutting holes in our hoods, right above the the SRI, and put a REX type scoop on it? Right in the drivers line of sight. It will also make a nice port for the rain - funnel the rain water right into the engine compartment to keep it nice and clean.

That makes no sense at all. I think we're better off just removing our hoods altogether. No hood = no underhood temps

I bet you all thought I was crazy by suggesting a scoop on the hood. But this is where great ideas like dyn085's come from!!

All great ideas are built on improving existing technology. Until someone pulls their front clip and fenders, no hood will be the coolest option!!!

Only if I can get my "no-hood" option in full naked carbon.
