If both of your MT test cars are modified (intake and exhaust), how do you plan to release a tune for unmodified MT cars?

Are you asking because they have a aftermarket intakes? They really don't increase air flow as much as what would be needed to get the full benefits of a custom tune.

We have seen guys do Mk3 stock baselines, then dyno aftermarket intake and exhaust and see 10-13whp gains, this before tuning was even available. That tells me that there is an airflow increase, or at least a restriction decrease.

I would like to see bone stock(w/afr), then bone stock tuned(also w/afr). Prove to me the tune is safe AND effective. Then tune for aftermarket parts.

The tunes on on both MT cars are not custom tuned to our bolt ons. We are testing the tune from the stock 88/92 tune they did.

My data has shown me that there is 10hp to be had in a 10 degree difference in engine temp. If that's what you'd like to see, I'll see if I can make it happen. We've made over 50 pulls on the Dyno, and spent countless hours working on making the tuning as efficient as possible. I'm sure one of my guys won't have a problem letting me throw a stock air box on and making a rip in the Dyno. The factory O2 is all we need for our data acquisition tools.

Aron, correct me if I'm wrong...

They dynoed the car in 4th gear. I believe they hit the speed limiter... According to gear calculators, the car should hit ~125 at 6500 in fourth; The stock speed limiter is 121 IIRC, so 6250 seems about right.

That's exactly right. I can post wheel speed in MPH, but it won't be till I'm back on the office Tuesday.
