Pretty sure it wasn't hooked up.

I was disappointed with my car's baseline pull. I expected more, especially seeing as how Injected's car made about the same amount of power bone stock on 93... but it is as they say... different car, different day, different variables, different strokes, different folks. I never dynoed my car stock, so I don't know what difference my mods may have made (my butt dyno can feel a difference though).
It's raining pretty hard here so I haven't really driven the car much yet, but the little bit I have, I can tell a difference. The hesitation that Havok described is definitely gone. I never gave it much thought before; I just thought the car was weak down low. But now when you step on the gas, it starts going instead of 'delaying' for a few seconds.

The stock line is with those mods too, right? 10hp gain on a tune is pretty good, especially considering the low baseline numbers. Its a large % gain.

Edit: also, why did you cut the stock run short at 6250? The others were maxing power much above that. I thought it was limited to 6750 or so stock.

Something for you to remember, we have 2.3L N/A 4cyl motor; it's not a turbocharged 4cyl where a tune simply increases boost and you have 20-40HP gains.

doh.

What I said still stands. We aren't going to get 20-30HP gains with a tune.

Tune alone, no... But we're already seeing with the right parts and tune, we could see 30+ HP

I indicated that I was disappointed with the baseline (pre tune... Nothing to do with the work Injected did). I did not suggest that I expected 20-30 hp increases from the tune alone, but thanks for the info...

For the record... The people at Injected are great and their work is great. I appreciate that they are allowing me to help them test this. (They aren't done). I have zero complaints about the tune so far. I haven't been able to drive like I normally do (due to weather today) but I like the way it feels so far.
