Cool

65 mph = 47 mpg.
Mostly flat, I live on Long Island.
Automatic transmission in the hatchback with an Secret Weapon R intake and a Ford Racing exhaust.

Dude you are smoking crack! I have built fuel injected v8, v10,v12..... You couldnt get 28+ mpgs if you were driving down a mountain and put the trans in neautral. Also even if you got say 26 mpgs on hwy as soon as you sped up to pass someone you would get say 10 mpgs maybe lol if you want to see real fuel reports done by real drivers go to www.fuelly.com I am under blacknight

What does building V8, V10, V12 have to do with driving a V6 or possibly even an I4 Ford 500??? Are you thinking he meant a Mustang GT500?

On Thanksgiving, I did a day trip to Oklahoma with family. Had 3 people in the car going up and 4 on the way back. The morning was cold and I think it got no higher than the mid 50s temperaturewise. The whole trip averaged 35 mpg. Not too shabby with all things considered.

Assume everyone here is using the multifunction display? Anyone actually measure mileage by actual fuel used?
