I like power, I once had a T-Bird that was scarey. 302 high output. I was used to a Grand AM v-6. I would be doing 80 and not even know it. Fast car--biggest piece of shite I ever owned.

See, now you've gone off-topic and bypassed the swear filter so I have to ban you.

My last fast car was '94 Z-28. Since then I've learned that I don't want to go fast anymore. But I like to tinker and would much rather work on cars than aircraft. So I prefer to have my car a little quicker than stock, but it doesn't go past speed limit +5. I also like it relatively quiet and get good mileage, which is why I don't run the Steeda all year.

Snorkel delete.

All those little holes in the stock snorkle are a silencer. They quiet the noise from the intake.
Sort of like a gun silencer.. Or the holes in the inner parts of some muffler designs..

They may flow a little air too.. But the main reason for them is to make the intake quiet. The sound wave pressure travelling out gets broken up by the holes...

Idk why I quoted this

BUT

Do you keep your snorkel off when you're running the steeda? Or just th K&N? I run the steeda and wasn't sure if it'd make a difference. How much louder is the car with the delete with the steeda intake, with the steeda being as loud as it is anyways.

Once I took the snorkel off of the car I threw it away. I doubt it makes a difference with any of the aftermarket intakes, but it definitely won't hurt them or make them any quieter.

What if we just have a complete after market CAI does it still apply? With the hp gains? What should I notice :)
