Pardon me if I've missed the instructions in the thread, but could someone clue me in to how to completely remove the plastic cover over the snorkel? How do you separate it from the grill/bumper to give enough room to remove the snorkel and cut the rubber piece?

I did not remove it completely. You should be able to pry it up enough to work under it. It is pretty flexible.

Easily done, just get yourself some extra bonnet pins to replace the ones you might break. I just cut one side, the side closest to the air duct and saw great results. Will go back in and cut the other side this weekend. Might also chuck out the resonator and cover the hole with something, or do the newmission mod.
