Looks like a quality product, but I gotta admit that newmission's custom ram-air intake just makes the most sense to me

I might go with fswerks. Its going to cost between 170 and 190. And i know red mentioned stuff about the sct tune. The guy at fswerks also told me he's working with sct on the tune now and hopefully by the summer time we'll have one available then we can start boosting ;)

Cheers Gentlemen.

It has already been ruled out that the Ford "RAM" air intake is no RAM at all, but a quarter size sucking tube. The intake I proposed keeps the factory tubes just the same as bypass for reason of prohibiting any possible hydro-lock. You get a tried and true lifetime warranty K&N filter, and true RAM air for under a $100. Still can't beat it.

Here's a little R&D from the other day. Ambient was 77/78 degrees. This was from a dead stop. Temp reached 80. You can see RPMs never went over 3385, and the IAT temp dropped to ambient mid way through acceleration. Idle MAF is 0.6lb. At just over 2K RPM, around 35MPH the MAF is already getting an extra 1.1lbs.

.....Sorry for the thread high-jack, but my name came up..... Thought ya'll would like to know the latest.

Ouch, a little more expensive than I hoped. I was hoping for somewhere in the 200-250 range.

Still, a nice looking piece.
