BTW, as an fyi guys, FSwerks has their intake info and pictures available on their website now.

Their price would appear pretty affordable as well. Would like to see what people see for real world gains on that system as well.

They also posted a dyno chart for the gains they made with both their intake and race exhaust installed, which is cool.

did you see the dyno numbers with the intake and exhasut from FS Werks? Good gains there. I to am between steeda vs FS Werks, but I am still leaning towards the steeda a bit

Edit FS Werks was getting 150 at the wheels stock? That's impressive

Yeah if he doesn't get it with the intake and full exhaust. A tune when one is released will do so. I'm happy to see that we may be able to get close to or over 200 with basic bolt ons and a tune :-)

I cant find a used fswerks duratec header to test fitment... I have my stock header on the car again and I must say its a big difference slower... (Very easily noticed slower) On the old engine full headers offroad exhaust gave 30+ whp on no tune and a CEL on the dash lol. I would like to see 180+ from a race system and intake.

EDIT: Getting my hands on an f2 header!

That is good to hear. A Steeda representative said the same about theirs. The "poop" I am hearing could be from the design of the factory airbox creating some crappy resonance because of its shape around the factory filter with the lid removed. I knew an open hole left in the bottom after removal of the factory silencer would (than was a given), but I thought the lid removal would not be bad and instead sound nice and linear, not boggy and crappy at part throttle. It was annoying.

It makes me willing to try either the FSWerks short ram or the Steeda short ram. I really like the design of the Steeda short ram MAF housing, but the price of the FSWerks kit is tempting. Just need to see who has the better return policy in case I hate it. I know my mod works, I just wish I had access to a dyno to test it. The gains seen by FSWerks with intake and exhaust are nice. I am sure the Stealth exhaust will not be much different if any. A tune would bring these engines to 180+rwhp easily with just two simple bolt ons. Nice. A header should net 200whp.
