I completely understand the need to keep modding, I can't leave a car alone, but...

If your big picture plan (and it's great to have a plan) is to have a turbo then spending money now will just push that out. I hear you with the tax money but having a cash cushion will be nice when doing the turbo, expect the unexpected even with a complete bolt-in kit. The header would be a complete waste if you are going turbo, sure you can sell it used but you will still be out some cash.

A limited slip is great but with a clutch and install time you are getting close to turbo money.

Just my 2 cents...

I'd add a torsen & a Exedy oem clutch kit. Hows your suspension & what do you have? Suspension & a torsen your doing to use, no matter how much power you have.

Supension setup is a bit lacking. running some eibach pro springs. I am running the ford rally 17x7 wheels w 205/17/45's. I had planned on pulling the transmission myself and installing the lsd and clutch.

Its fairley easy to do. Fwerks used a Exedy oem replacement kit on their '07 st project car running their turbo kit w/ great suscess, back in early '08. I'd do a poly dogbone & a poly trans mount & a Steeda sts.

I agree with the majority of these guys! If turbos what you want but you want to continue modding/upgrading your vehicle, why don't do little things here and there that will help you reach your end goal? Thats what I plan on doing.

That way I get to work on my car in the meantime while reducing the total amount of work I have to do when I'm actually doing the turbo install. Another thing I would suggest like a few others did would be to get a tune with unlimited first. That way you can adjust your tune with each upgrade

This is true, I didn't realize Tom charged for a boost tune as well until I emailed him a little while ago. But it does make sense though, I mean there is a lot that goes into a boost tune vs N/A, right?
