Fswerks Race Headers and Stealth Exhaust install for 2007 Ford Focus?

I'm looking to buy the fswerks race headers and stealth exhaust and have a couple of questions for it.
1.) Do I also need to buy the flex pipe for it?
2.) If I wanted to buy a high flow catalytic converter to keep it somewhat street legal, would I be able to install it along with the headers and exhaust?
Any advice and tips is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Yes, you will need the flex pipe as well. The stock manifold has a cat and the flex all in a single unit I believe, so you will be deleting a cat by installing the header. The stealth exhaust kit will replace one muffler and an additional small cat with two high-flow mufflers, thus deleting a second cat. Magnaflow makes a high-flow manifold/cat/flex that is a direct replacement for the stock - if you want to keep it more emissions-legal you could get something like that instead of the header.

Myself, I have the FSWerks stealth kit as well (but the base kit is a Trubendz 2.5" with Magnaflow muffler). It is pretty noticeable, I started with the regular non-stealth and then got the stealth upgrade as well because of the noise. But it did sound pretty great without the stealth muffler - that is probably close what yours will sound like with the header and the stealth kit.

FSwerks header, stealth exhaust and tune is a great combo. Definitely notice an increase in performance, car likes the higher rpms. It is loud but not obnoxiously loud. There is a slight drone at highway speed, not enough to notice much when daily driving but I notice it on long highway trips.

Everything i have heard makes CA emissions sound super strict. Even with a cat, i think you would still have issues.
