Ported t/b

So I bought a ported t/b from a member on here a bit ago (thank you for the fast shipping) and I just got around to putting it in today. My idle is a bit high at around 1200rpm and it like to hang a lot when I rev it a bit. It didn't turn on any lights and it seems to be running fine but is that normal? Didn't think I did anything wrong and I'm pretty positive there are no leaks, could anyone help me out here?

First question is whether you did a battery disconnect to force a quick idle re-learn when starting it up again with the new TB? Should fire it up & wait for idle to settle down before driving for the fastest re-learn.

If you did this &/or have driven it for a good while, you'll prob. need to readjust the stop screw.

No mention yet of what type, modified stock or aftermarket.

You'd need to adjust for about 650 RPM warm with the IAC disconnected if it needs adjustment.
