Ive been rocking my car with fswerks intake, header and exhaust lol. Loud it is but it doesnt drive me crazy. Probably everyone else but I like loud lol. I'm interested in this thread because other than a cosworth intake manifold I'm pretty much maxed out. They dont make a tb for this car, could maybe get the stock one ported and polished? They dont make lightweight pulleys that I know of. And as far as cams, I've been told they do make a set for the duratec but finding someone who can tune the car after wards is rather difficult.

The easiest way is the same it has always been:

Get the largest displacement shortblock in your engine series with the best heads for your application. 2.5 block with 2.3 head and accessories would be the first thing I would do if I had a 2.0 and wished for more HP.

You are thinking,
"That sounds like a pain in arse"
It is, everything about making the most power, reliably, with the least money always is.

Don't waste your money on a TB. The gain from it is so small it is insignificant. Spend that money on lighter wheels or suspension. I noticed one of the biggest differences in my car when I went to 12.8lb rota slipstreams. Much better acceleration.

These rota wheels are 15 or 16?

Lighter wheels, lighter car, a taller gear ratio will be your best bang for your buck gains. You wont gain much with a intake or exhaust, a header may squeeze out a few extra ponies 6-10 if your real lucky. I would do a cam swap after I did the wheels, car diet, and taller gear ratio then go to header and find a tuner.

This would totally be a 2.5 engine the 2.5 head it has larger intake ports even than the 2.3 head the only problem is the vct.
