I got the OBX header on mine, gave me an ok bump in power, and did the tune with it, got a tad loud over 4-5k but if i added a muffler to it it would calm it down, which i plan to do in the future. my last mod i feel will be lightweight flywheel and clutch and if i really feel like it cams, but my car scoots along nicely and i enjoy driving it all the time

OP, you can go the I/H/E/tune route and maybe get close to 200. Those mods will definitely make your car more fun to drive.

Boosting will give you more bang for the your dollar, though. Check out the FSW kits.

I have been looking to do the same here. I can reach the 200whp mark pretty cheap compared to doing a turbo setup. As long as i do the work to the motor myself i can get all the parts I need which includes 12:1 pistons, new rods, crower stage 3 cams with matching valve train, cosworth intake manifold, cosworth water pump, cosworth oil pump, new 2.3 Ranger crankshaft and I already got someone that can hook me up and a days worth of dyno sessions at discounted price. So for the same 4k som of you are talking about spending for a turbo kit I can spend the same money and get the same if not close to the same power gains for the same price.

Well I'm not sure about the 4k thing cause i made my own turbo kit I'm just finishing my tune but I didn't spend 4k it was about 2.5k and that was with good deals here an there and with the turbo I have I'm making more Than the fswerks kit that's for sure

I'm not sure you can get to 200whp with those mods... And given the cossie rarity you'll probably go over the 4k mark... And with a stage 2 turbo, you'll be over 200whp with plenty room to grow...

To the OP.. Go boost.. You'll never go back trust me.

you wont get 200 easy.... I have swapped in a 2.3L with Header, tune, CAI, muffler.... Making what... 180 if I am lucky.. still NA

you can polish every part of your engine 2.0l and after spending more money on them upgrades than buying a new Ford Focus ST you might barely make 200, when for $350 you can add a 50 hp NOS and call it a day.. and still get 30 MPG

Dumping crap loads of money into the NA engine is not worth it if all you want is speed..

So either Boost or hot shot if on the cheap... IMO...
