The PCM software will automatically adapt the new throttle body, no modifications required, a simply plug and play modification. UHHHHHH.....I doubt it.

I measured it when I had a CFM and it's ~53 mm.

Throttle Body 2.0 Duratec HE

Hello!

I've been reading along for a while here, but never registered. And now I saw this thread coming by..

I'm not sure now if it'll fit on your Focus' but I can get the 60mm TB for a reasonable price. European Part's prices for the TB's (and prices from Ford Dealers here) are ridiculous if you'd ask me. Are your's FBW??

So if someone can confirm if this'll fit, maybe we can arrange something? The TB's I'm offering are not genuine Ford parts but they're OEM quality, I can assure you. I've got one fitted on my Focus. And, for all I know, European Parts gets them from the same manufacturer where I can get 'em.

Pic's:

The new TB:

My own (55mm) and new one (60mm):

My 60mm fitted:

I can tell you that it really makes a difference. It's not a HP-wonder, but I can tell you that the engine is running more smoothly and the throttlerespons is much better. With some adjustments on the airfilter and -box, it gets even better.

Will it fit? And if so, let me know!

I'm from the Netherlands (Europe) and shipping costs from here are about $ 50,- (i'm not sure about clearance-costs in the States..). I can sell the TB from here for $ 180,-. I'll let you do the math.. :)

I wonder if Ford's Duratec is the same over there!

Dennis.
