I dig my Steeda but that's the only one I've ever used.

Yep, steeda!!! Cfm is basically a stock shifter cut down, where the steeda actually moves the shift linkage up, subsequently making the shifts shorter!

Stocks vs Steeda

Installed

All-in-all, muuuuch shorter throws between gears, and sits exactly where it should be stock! Def worth the cash!

Ive had a modified stock, F2 (ebay garbage), and the Steeda.

Modded stock= Move the attachment point for the cable up higher. felt a little better, you could always cut and rethread the shifter to shorten it

F2 (which i swear is exactly the same as the ebay ones, right down to the blue bushing inserts) was rubbish. the cable kept popping off and something else didnt fit right

Steeda feels great but really isnt much different that a modded stock one lol

i have the CFM shifter in my car, feels great. i have to at the lowest setting and from 1st to 2nd i think the knob moves maybe 2"-3" between gears. i love it cause i have long arms and stock aways would make my arm go to weird angles.

So for those of you with a short throw, does it being shorter give you any issues? Like I'm on the taller side and I keep my seat all the way back, any issues reaching the shorter shifter, still reach it comfortably? How do you feel about the shift boot, some have looked like they have a little too much material on them now (I know you can get a custom boot made but would rather not do that right away.)
