Tune-up

I need a tune up on my 2000 Ford Ford and I was wondering what anyone would recomend. I am looking at the Denso plugs and wires, but was also looking at the msd wires and coil combo.

I'm planning on making modifations to the car so If I have to I would rather spend a lil more money noe than nlater after the modifications to engine.

Thanks

you should have posted in the z-tec forms. not the duratec forums. Know your car. plugs and new wires is not a bad idea for a tune up. When it comes down to plugs I would just get the cheap motorcraft plugs. the coil pack and wires is up to you. I would not wast my money on them if it was me but its your car. do what you want man.

On the Zetec for a tune up I would just do plugs, wires, air filter, fuel filter, and the PCV valve/hose. I wouldn't worry about the coil unless you are having ignition problems. And honestly the aftermarket ignition setup you are contemplating probably won't show you any gains, at least at this stage.

^^ditto also if it's an auto then you should probably change the fluid and filter depending on mileage.
