9-3 was first - took him from a light to around 60 and had him by a car and a half.
Next up was the IS300 . . . WOOOOOO what a rush. Had him from a dig in round one - kept it to about 1/4 a car between his front and my rear bumper. Round two we went from a 35MPH roll . . . jumped about 1/4 length so his front was at my rear quarter panel then slowly crept til my 3rd gear shift and that sealed it. Gave him the flashers then we lined up at the next light.
That time I had a shitty launch and got pwned off the line, gained back a car length by the top of first and what do you know, piece of shit ford's rear engine mount does it's magic and second won't engage again. I put the flashers on, he let off, I caught up and gave him the thumbs up and thanked him for the fun then came home :)

yeah, the turbo - that thing is a tank though weighing in around ~4000 lbs.
the IS was reallllll close - only 3200lbs and 200+hp/tq inline 6 . . . . the first two runs and well the 3rd run was peeeeeee ewwwwwwww so I just like to pretend that didn't count :)

haha hey - the weather is warm, the nights are clear, the tarmac is smooth . . . and there's just something about the history behind woodward that i can't HELP but want to do some late night runs on.

the IS definitely has the edge . . . the guy wasn't exactly a car buff. i only have a K&N drop in and tune.
now for that steeda sts and vf engineering mount - maybe i'll actually be able to race without the fear of 2nd not engaging for a change

the IS wasn't auto - like i said i spent some time talking to the guy . . . it was a 5 speed V6. yeah i have hypnotics tune. . . i don't know what kind of HP/TQ they lose going to the wheels but the SVT with it's gearing is a force top end and like i said even when he ****** up and i had a decent launch it wasnt much of a lead til i hit the sweet spot in second gear. before that i was only about 3/4 a length.
and when i fotched my launch he had me big time - but that was our 3rd run.
