It will probably take a few tries to learn how to drive a 14 second quarter. That doesn't sound too bad for the first time out...

Front drive, nitous, and a stick has got to be tricky to launch. What was your mph at the end?

Egz 12-23-2007 11:41 AM

And your 60'?

SALEEN_N2O 12-23-2007 07:28 PM

i actually lounched with out nitrous, i had it kick-in in second mph was 96.43...and my 60 foot was 2.29

This is a 2.0 right.

SALEEN_N2O 12-24-2007 09:45 AM

2.0 IS CORRECT[hihi]

It doesn't sound to far off to me. The Saleen body kit adds weight. If you had some sticky tires and start using the nitrous part of he way through first will make a difference. Also tradck condition make a big difference. My Mustang went 14.4 on Fri night test and tune. Then on Sat. night grudge match it went 14.0.

whoever said a sleen focus is supposed to run 14's stock?

it is hardly modified at all from the factory. and sinse you have an 04 saleen(old bodystyle, you should have the 2.3)

remember this also, your car is an 04, its been around for 4 years now roughly, its not a young lad anymore, its gonna be alittle slower than when it was first built and really kickin.

how does it feel when the nos kick in?
