Low brightness on Sony MP3 audio unit (MK2 Europe)

Hi all,

I recently purchased a Ford Focus mk2 (european version) year 2006 with the audio unit SONY mp3 V2C bluetooth.

It has a poor LCD brightness and I can't see it during the day. At night, there isn't any problem.

The brightness is so low, so I want you to know if it is a common failure due to the time, and obviously how to fix this error.

Thanks in advance.

It is as:

Don't know anything about the specific model, but when you mention recent purchase I wonder if day/night might not be working or not working as you hope it would.

With many, once headlights are on it's in night mode and you can't see it well in daylight.

Def. check if you have two levels of brightness.

I will check it, but I think it does not have that option.

With headlights off, it is impossible to read the info on the LCD. Anyway I will check it.

Thanks!

I just checked and it works properly. With headlights on, the brightness is lower than with headlights off.

So the problem continues
