Help with an audio overhaul.

I drive the 2013 Ford Focus SE Hatchback and I want to upgrade my system.
I listen to a lot of rock, but really to everything. I guess I want more sound quality than anything, but I also want to feel the bass drops in my songs.
I want to replace the 4 door speakers, 2 tweeters, and add two 12" subs with an amp. (I'm going with two 12s because they're the medium size, I honestly don't know what to get in terms if size, but two 12s sounds cool. XD) I want to try and stay around 1200 watts because that seems to be about the best for my car's alternator based on Google research and talking to audio dealers.
I was recommended to do the following for my subs
1. (Two 12" JBL GTO http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...-GTO1214D.html )
2. (One Sealed Enclosure http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...rend-12DM.html )
3. (Amp http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...-GM-D8601.html )

That equipment will work fine together. Looks like those subs are B1GO1/2off now too. So certainly good for the price. Measure the trunk and make sure the box will fit back there.

As for door speakers, lots and lots to choose from. Buy a quality brand name and just remember that you get what you pay for.

Still using the factory head unit?

Factory head unit for now. Hope to upgrade it. No idea how to go about that.

Honestly, in the 13 Focus, it ain't fun or cheap. And....the part they make to retain Sync isn't a real homerun in my opinion. I'd ditch Sync and just use the bluetooth in your new headunit for calls/audio streaming. The dash kit is about $130 by itself. (Scosche FD6200B looks better IMO) All together, expect $250 in parts alone.

I don't even use Sync. I just like to jam when I'm in a car, nothing else. Haha. I'll check those kits out. :)

You could use a LOC, but a nice one, not a $20 one. I'll be installing an AudioControl LC6i with my subs and amp. I found the following link helpful:

That JBL amp will accept speaker wire inputs directly into the RCA connections. That'll give you a damn strong signal in. Check out the Kicker KISL to keep it clean.
