improving sound

hello all,i have a 2014 focus se sedan with the standard radio,is it possible to improve the sound on these radios,i guess what im asking would aftermarket speakers help if so what are some recommendation's.also is it possible to hook a amp and sub woofer to these radios,thank you for your help.

To add a subwoofer to the factory radio, you'll either need a line output converter or buy an amplifier that accepts high-level (speaker wire) inputs (very common). If you buy a current model Kicker amp, they even have a feature called DC offset. It's very similar to signal sensing, meaning it will turn the amp on/off when it detects an input on those speaker level inputs. Meaning no hunting for an ignition power source to use as a remote turn on!
