Any thing in the Pioneer Premier(PRS)product line will be a good product. Pioneers lower product line sucks.

Any good installer worth his salt knows how to install it correctly.

Those Alpines are really good for the money.

It will work out just fine David.

Very simple, car audio
You get what out of it what you pay for.
Alpine, Mbqurt, and pioneer are all rated by CEA. so the numbers shown are minium output. Personel experince with Aline (only in my cars) and Pioneer (Been MECP for 5 years installing for 7 years professional) are under rated.
One of my cars only have Type R's front to back (6.5 componets F&R and 3 12" subs) with Alpine PDX series.

You are getting good speakers pair with something that is rated to perform. Those other amps will work but you will sacrafices the power, id be willing to bet.

this one for example
http://www.soundmaster.com.au/Clario...lifier/XR2420/

now this is not a acutall equation but best way to sum it up without knowing what the fuse size is.
480 watts divided by number of channels 4
leaves you with 120 watts a channel
take that 120 watts divide by ohm load you will place it at 4 ohm
can guess that amp will perform around 30 watts rms.

long story short, if you want cheap. find a 1500 watt peak amp that might preform for you well. and the physical size of that amp would be about 4 times larger then a CEA amp. excess size because of excess heat being wasted.

sooo the pioneer is on par with the alpines then? And even better for the price.. ^^^
Alpine i do realise you pay for brand aswell as quality..
So the alpine type r speakers will work just fine then with the pioneer sub.

and that would complete my setup.
Only thing is im amping up tweeters + speakers not the rear speakers rite.. the balance factor won't really matter?

The speakers will come with cross over networks, I think that model will have a input from the amp and two outputs. One being TW = tweeter other being WF = woofer.

If your not doing something comparable in the rear then yes you'll notice a difference front to back. You'll be fine with standard coaxial Type R's in the rear.

Something to remember, the amp you pick will provide the Rms to each speaker. You need a speaker that will handle that wattage, other wise you'll blow them.

You want to run a separate line out converter, preferred a 4 channel one. A good one at retail cost is about $50. On line cuts that about half.

Power doesn't kill speakers,

people kill speakers.
