How do I install an AUX line in a factory 9006 audiophile in my 2003 Focus?

It is a 6 cd changer/AmFm 9006 audiophile stereo. I just want to add a line out to my iPod. Not sure what specific equipment is needed. Thanks!!

For anyone still looking, this method works great. Did it yesterday to prep for a long road trip. It's so simple I think I'll do this instead of the FM transmitter in my other SVTF:

Here's your option to use CD after the conversion: Don't block contacts on the ribbon connector. Burn a dummy CD with silent tracks. You can create silent tracks using Audacity or some other free mp3 maker software. Use that CD when you want to go into AUX mode.

I blocked off CD audio because I don't use them, plus I'm scared to break the changer. Out of 3 9006 head units I own, only one has a CD player that works. I can probably fix the others, but I had to use the working one for this hack as the head only accepts the audio signal when the CD changer is connected and working properly. I'd like to figure out how to trick the head unit, but I don't have the tools or knowledge to figure out the signaling nor have I figured out a way to spoof it.

Some Russian guy figured it out, but I can't tell what he did. Something with jumpers and a 8 bit micro controller (probably doing the spoof) on the main amp board, see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQJu0FYPTfE
