Any way to increase aux volume ???
Longtime lurker and newbie sign up.
I've got a 2009 SEL with Audiophile.
This is apparently a very common problem with all radios, Ford or not, it seems. I'm content with the volume on CD, radio, and USB..
Currently, I am using a headphone booster which helps but it's still not nearly as loud as the other sources. I use it for Satellite radio and my old radio died and I just replaced it with an Onyx radio. The volume from this is noticebly better, I have it maxed out, but should still be higher....
I googled and found that on a particular Mercedes radio, you can press buttons to get to a diagnostic screen and then adjust the volume of the aux outpput. (I do know how to view the Ford Diagnostic screen by pressing the 3 and 6 while in AM/FM mode.)..... So, does anyone know a way, such as the Mercedes example, outside of an external booster, that this volume can be increased ????
Thanks for any help
