This ever happened to anyone???

Was driving home today listening to Sirius and all the sudden the volume went to max. Steering wheel volume controls were unresponsive for a few seconds and I forgot about the volume wheel on the dash

Thought my car and eardrums were going to explode. Fk'n thing is loud at max volume. Hope it didn't blow a speaker

I think this is pretty dangerous as it's very, very distracting. Especially when it goes from normal volume to max with no warning. The volume did not gradually increase. One second it was normal, the next second it was maxed out.

I have the Sync system but it wasn't activated at the time and I wasn't talking.

So...............how did it feel to be blasting John Denver at top volume, while trying to attract that pretty thing next to you..................all while beating on your dash.....lol.

Could have been worse. You could have been sitting next to someone at a stop light.
... Actually, that would be hilarious.

Well my volume didn't get stuck but the MFT on my Focus would only play the local country music station. Sync would still ask me for station numbers but would always return "Sorry that function is not available" which was unfortunate considering how much I adore country music. That is to say... I despise it.

lol, I've had the MFT freeze just as I was scanning stations and I ended up on a station with nothing but annoying car ads. Had to listen to that station and its crappy music and ads until I was done my trip and out of the car. Even then the system stayed on.

I've had uncommanded volume increases even after the new update. I think I've narrowed it down to being a combination of the iPhone plugged into USB and having volume speed sensitivity enabled.

Had something very similar happen to me yesterday and at a time I was 'showing off' my car to my neighbor. Ended up that SYNC was doing an upgrade at the time so everything was unresponsive. After the upgrade completed, everything went back to normal.
