Doesn't matter that the buttons are relocated all that will matter is that those buttons are wired correctly as the old ones were, and they'll serve the same purpose. The other kit also relocates those buttons, although it can retain the factory buttons to do so.

Wish I hadn't opted for MFT now so I could take advantage of one of these setups.

umm did you look at the instal .pdf? because it says right on it ford focus 2012 and up... and in Metras news page they have a list that lists that specific product number for the new line up of 2012 focus turbo kits, that is just the mat black trim there will also be a gloss BLK, silver, and mat red.
Here is the news post http://metraonline.com/news-post/66

I'll be getting this to replace the ACV kit I already have. Just waiting for the steering wheel controls to come out from AXXESS. That will basically solve all problems. You'll have the door lock/hazard, control of the upper screen, and steering wheel controls all working with the aftermarket headunit. Perfect.

This might have been asked before..

Now that we know all 2013s will have sync. Will the people with 2012s without sync be left out in some future audio aftermarket parts?

Have you got the Metra kit yet? The eBay listing Item number: 160829308004 I quoted on another thread has sold 7 even without the AXXESS kits available. The seller is going to notify me when they are available.

Maybe you've already tried this, but just want to make sure, the factory radio doesn't turn off until you open the car door to get out once the car is off.

Movewell FC-C8 DVD / NAV / BT Stereo Replacement

Has anyone had any experience with this companies products? They make a full replacement for the MFT 8" screen. See this link on Amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/Movewell-2012-...movewell+focus

There are some short Demo's on youtube. Looks like you get nav, games, movies, etc. I was surprised to see that they make one for the new focus 2012.

Let me know what you think..
