The biggest difference is the stage 2 has a kevlar clutch disk.

Stage 1 - Stock-like daily drivability and very good wear characteristics. High clamp pressure plate, steel-backed and multi-compound woven organic material and high torque sprung hub and disc assembly, bearing and tool kit

Stage 2 - For all mild to moderately modified naturally aspirated and power adder engines. (Also good for stock power levels and spririted driving when good daily drivability and extremely long life are the goal.) Stock-like daily drivability and EXCELLENT wear characteristics. High clamp pressure plate, pure Kevlar friction material and high torque sprung hub and disc assembly, bearing and tool kit.

Thanks
Todd

Where did you find Stage 1 clutch kit for $279. I didn't find it on this website.
If you could let me know I would really appreciate it because I really need a clutch kit for my SVT

Email me if possible pahan_g12@hotmail.com
Thanks

That price was for a 02 zts NOT an SVT

SVT kit price is as following:

Stage 1 $424.15
Stage 2 $466.65
Flywheel $356.15

You MUST purchase the SPEC flywheel/clutch as a combo at the same time. The clutch kit will not work with a factory, or any other aftermarket flywheel

You must call to order

I also am in need of a clutch and flywheel for an 03 SVTF. Why will the SPEC clutches not work w/ the Fidanza flywheels? Please price accordingly, as I do not plan any kind of FI n the near future. Thanx!
