I thought I got them out already. I will have to confirm everything and PM you once I am home.

I'll play with the films for a little bit today.

Also, this was my Christmas present last night:

The high voltage sign was just used as a piece of plastic for a block off to the fenderwell vents for my cold air intake. Couldn't find any other plastic. Hah.

Ice down hill. Couldn't stop. Hit a car. Cop was next to me. Did all I could to avoid hitting cop. Almost avoided the SUV too. Flashed my lights at them to move from like 200-300 ft away. Cop said he was looking at me in the mirror and could see me not be able to stop.

Thanks guys. It was just me a mile from home coming back from my girlfriend's family's house. Was like a 5mph hit.

The high voltage sign was just used as a piece of plastic for a block off to the fenderwell vents for my cold air intake. Couldn't find any other plastic. Hah.

Double ouch!! So that was the ice you mentioned yesterday. Sorry to see that happen especially during the holidays. Damage looks pretty bad. Hoping everything gets taken care of ok.

Did you sand down or remove any of he green film on the back of the speedo? I'm guessing you were testing red and blue? Red on kph #'s looks good. Blue on mph #'s looks really washed out. The bright indicator really over powers it. Definitely want the colors to be intense.

As long as you use blue led's youll be fine, that washed-out blue is the color of my metalmonkey, you can kinda tell in the pic below, the 2 outside bulbs are blue leds from Andrei, but the middle one is just the OEM white light, so for now, the middle of my cluster looks washed-out. Overall, these new guages that you are making, Andrei are turning out great!

If that blue film that you are using is backlit with blue led's the color would be perfect.

Your middle is definitely washed out. What color films did you pic from metal monkey? How would the backlighting with blue leds instead of white affect the red film? What about other color films like yellow, pink, orange etc....? Might require darker colored film or maybe doubling up depending on color. I know the metal monkeys I've seen besides yours had truer intenser looking colors. Not sure what the back lighting was though.

Good start so far.
