For Sale: Used K&N Typhoon Kit for 2003-2007 2.3L

SOLD SOLD SOLD

a. For sale is a K&N Typhoon Cold Air Intake Kit for 2003-2007 2.3L. Part number is 69-3512TB. The pipe is blue.
b. Seaside, CA 93955
c. SOLD
d. Photos coming soon
e. My name is Josh
f. PM me

Selling this b/c I'm selling one of my Foci and the one I'm keeping already has a K&N kit. It comes with all the pieces required for installation. You can download the installations instructions on K&N's website but it's pretty easy The hardest part is removing the factory air box maze. I've cleaned the filter and recharged it using the K&N recharge kit so it's ready to be installed. It's got about 40k miles on it. The blue one is hard to find nowadays. Compare at $200 new. K&N says to expect 8.5 HP increase. It feels like you get more.

There is some wear as can be expected. There are rock chips in the pipe but no holes or dents. The filter itself has some small bends in the metal mesh. You can see it in the picture. The moisture barrier hood that covers the filter to keep water out has a small 1 inch tear in it.

SOLD SOLD SOLD

I guess it really depends where you live and how invasive the cops are in your area. My car and my truck before it both looked and sounded like they were modified and I've never had a cop look under the hood.

Yeah cops don't really mess with the modded guys like back in the day. I just need the carb so I don't have to change the cai out every other year. Especially with the pzev's mile long intake tract.

As far as I know, for intakes, Duratec fits Duratec. 2.3 or 2.0. This will not fit a Zetec though. Easy way to tell, if your intake is in the front, it'll fit. If the intake is in the rear, no dice.

Regardless, I'm awaiting payment to paypal.
