I need an svt engine ASAP. Anyone with one that's for sale, please pm me with a phone number and I'll call you. I need it ASAP as my focus's engine is shot and it's my daily. Thanks

Too much boost, maybe. Honestly I don't know for sure why it went but the piston rings fried.

I was looking for more of a plug and play type deal. Completed motor. I have got quoted $2000 by one company but looking into more local performance shops too before I decide on anything. But after getting a lot of prices here and from junkyards for engines, I think I'll rebuild. No sense in paying 80% of the rebuild cost for an engine with 70+k miles. Thanks everyone.

Its about how hot u get with boost. Boost here and there is ok. But an all out topspeed pull at full boost with a jrsc is a no no. And a hot day is even worse. Did u have an overdrive pulley on the crank?

I had a tune for 10lbs no extra mods. It's the ford racing tune. I was running 12lbs spiking to 14 at redline. When it went, everything was normal on the gauges. Not running hot, not abnormal boost, high or low, real strange.
