for what It's worth, I played with my suspension, and Have used 4, the highest setting on the front for the first time, and the ride quality on highway travel is much improved! It also improved steering response at low speeds.

the rear's have been bumped from 2 to 5, and I find this a good balance.

Hey WD40, i was waiting for an answer on the other tread so i guess i'll ask again here.


Did you install the blue part that is on the stock sct struts, and how, because mine are just there but they are not very tight, should i push them in hard or should i remove them.

its the part that is inside the cover of the strut, i think you know what it is.

Thanks for the review. Ordered some last week, and now I can't wait to get them. (I am also putting on some Hawk hps pads). This is going to be a good week!!

Yes, you have to install that grommet to get them not to be loose in the rear. (if you mean the rear dampers)

If its not installed, your struts will not seat all the way into the hole when its compressed, and you can rattle it around by hand.

I had mine professionally done at a buddies shop, to correct a noise I had in the front.

I am running 3/7 daily, weeeeeeeeee. Even on my toooo wide 225's, it rides really smooth.

Front struts.
Rear shocks.
Both are considered "dampers".
Which end (front or rear) were you referring to y2kpedo?

do you see the 1st strut that is from left to right. on this pic it is white. mine is blue. now did you install that on yours with the cover?

I think you're referring to the bumpstop that fits on the strut shaft.
Mine were black...your's are blue? Bizzare.

The stock dust cover will not fit on the KYB's.
