heim joint tie rods?

hey guys I need new tire rod ends on my '07 hatchback. was looking around for heim joint tie rod ends. I found them for off roading and such and saw them for a few other cars but nothing for my FF. can anyone at least tell me the thread pitch for the tie rod ends? thanks

(on a side note telling me not to do it will not decrease my chances of actually doing it, I don't care if it causes the car to explode with the rage of a thousand suns. Now that I have thought of it I have to try)

I'd use a QA1 High Performance Shocks, Suspension, Driveshafts & Rod Ends & pass on those from hardware store.

No, might want to checkout Specializing in high performance brake systems and components for muscle cars, trucks, pro touring, and race carsfor their Mustang ones. Probably not what you want to hear but should, Get Ford Focus, Mustang and Fiesta Performance Parts & Accessories - CFM Performance A-arms instead, really nothing gained w/ those. For Mustang's they're use on lowered foxbody's to keep toe steer at bay.

Thanks but my current tire rods are bad and these even with boots are a little less the OEM so I'd rather upgrade when I replace... maybe I will just pull one off to take it to the hardware store to match up the threads.

You'll need studs that'd work, checkout the Baer trackers to give you a idea. Really in the long run, your better off w/ replacement tie rod's. I don't want to be blowing down the freeway passing you & one of those hacked setups comes apart. don't think anyone one else does either.
