2012 strut change

going to change front struts ,springs everything . wondering about the strut bar between struts does whole front end need to be jacked up ,or can you just do one side at a time wondering if it would bind up or can be removed

Are you referring to the sway bar? You need to jack up both sides together so the sway bar is not in a bind. It's not difficult with one jack since you should be using jack stands anyway.

Not sway bar there's a bar or brace runs between strut mounts under cowl you can barely see it if you look underneath itsupposedly for stability ,always use Jack stands and chocks seen one fall off before don't have a very level driveway try to avoid jacking up whole front or back if possible

The cowl support you're talking about won't bind if you jack one side at a time. These chassis are pretty stiff.

I haven't heard of many people upgrading the front. From what I gather it's pretty adequate but if you're looking to go all out by all means.
