SVT suspension

this might have been talked about before but I couldn't find it.

I just saw the SVT suspenion kit for the ZX3. It drops it about a 1/2 of an inch. Is the ride better than the stock ZX3. I am not looking to drop my car alot just an inch or so. Just wondering if it's worth the money proformance wise. I am looking for a better ride not just looks.

Yes the ride is definitely better then a ZX3. The SVT suspension is a great setup but if your looking for a drop, look elsewhere. The 1/2" drop is noticeable but not much.

It's definitely a good setup but there are better ones out there.

thats the answer I was looking for. I don't care about looks as long as the ride is better and the kit is like 250 cheaper than the rest. I've been hearing horror stories about other kits around the 250 to 350 price range, yes you get a bigger drop but the ride I hear is horrible. I will add this to the list of mods, thanks!

i switched my ZX3 suspension out for the SVT suspension kit. Ride is SOOO much better, and cornering is a lot smoother. Like S2 said, drop is noticeable but not much. Perfect for the pric in my opinion.

Plus, you get the rear sway too! YAY! lol

Here's a pic showing the difference in height between stock and SVTF suspensions. Looks like maybe a half an inch drop.

When I dropped my ZX5 with SVT springs it dropped the front 1" and the rear 1/2". Measure before and after. I forgot to measure when I did my sportlines on the ZX3.

That pic I posted is the rear.

I also noticed that on my eibach pro-kit springs, the front drop is close to 2 inches from stock but the rear is about 1.2 ro 1.5.

nice I am pumped about the purchase now! My wife will be happy because she hates the ride on the ZX3 now.

Recommendation-when measuring suspension drops, especially for comparision purposes, measure from the center of the hub (or wheel) to the fender lip. Doing it this way you don't have to take other factors into account such as tire size, etc. Makes comparisons real easy if everyone would do it this way as it would always be a consistent measurement/comparison.
