Do some shopping, shock/strut kits are being closed out so you can get good prices if you find them.

Those would need disassembly, order a different top bush on a guess & try it - bit of a flyer. Double check if the top bushes were the same from '08-'12, can't remember for sure.

Worry what they really are for when you see an obvious mismatch.

I looked a little more into this kit and was looking at the FRPP springs and they look like the ones in the kit just a different color.

SO if everything checks out okay these would just be bolt on correct?

But what he said about them being upside down, still stands. They won't bolt in/work properly until you've flipped the springs.

There are two different sets of FRPP springs.

From what I got looking between the two pictures the one that I am looking at buying is setup the same way as the one posted above. Bigger opening of the spring on top with the smaller opening on the bottom but then idk.

Hate indistinct (blurry) pictures....

Post 13 on the left, looks like it matches the ones you're looking at buying.

That would make them OK as is (no flip needed).

Looking at the first set of pictures (struts in box) last night, the tight end of the coils didn't look like they fit into the holders properly at the bottom. Call it "better safe than sorry", flipping between the two sets of pictures gives a better reference than seeing the first set of pics by itself.

I've seen a few odd combinations, some that worked & ones that didn't - wouldn't want to tell you they're fine & be wrong.

Good work digging up the pics for reference, compare the two pics for yourself & go for it - decent price.

Yeah I understand thanks for all your help I think I am gonna end up getting them just gonna see if I can get some better pictures of them.
One last question if the springs are okay the way they are then they would just bolt right in right?

Yeah - they'll bolt right in as is.

From an angle view you'd see the spring loop around in it's seat & the end comes up against a stop - similar to what you can see at the top. You can just see a tab sticking up for a stop in the second set of pictures. That's how they stay in place & don't rotate on the holders. (top of later version is different, bent to a flat end that just sits on the bushing)

Top bushing is the bearing that turns when the strut turns BTW, one unit on the small top later ones & a bush (bearing) between the top plate & the top mount on the earlier ones.

I went at looked at them today the kit checked out good ended up picking them up for 240 and the guy threw in a flex pipe. the center nut is loose need to straighten the springs out and tighten those what are the torque specs for those?
just need to pick up a rear sway bar and the suspension will be done for "now"

The torque specs didn't work for me. I had to tighten them down all the way to stop spring noise (from the springs hopping around). Not sure what it said. But somewhere around 35ft-lbs seems familiar
