rear springs on wagon

This may be a stupid question. Is there any real difference between spring for an auto and springs for a maul transmission.. Just makes no sense to me why they are different. thanks in advance

There's a REAL difference between Wagon rear springs & those for the rest of the cars, otherwise it's more of a "fine tune" difference from what I've seen posted on them.

Factory fine tunes springs for the best ride with different major options, when Sport springs were developed there wasn't a need for two different types so you can see from that the differences aren't major.

Doesn't specify wagon or sedan, just auto or manual transmission. I could see if it was wagon, sedan , hatch had a difference. I just can't see what difference transmission makes on rear springs.

I agree. Makes no sense to me either. Please share anything you find out about this.
