Rear Brake Noise on 03 SE

My wife has noticed a squeal or something similar coming from the rear brakes. I have heard it as well, the car only has 27K on it and I have checked the drums and shoes and they have plenty of wear left on them. It is not your normal metal on metal squeak though. I was just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem. Also it does not do so all the time. It seems to happen as you are coming to a stop, in the last few feet or so.

Likewise... My 2003 SE 4DR's got 26k miles on it and has been squeeling like a pig since
I bought it. The lot I bought it from claims it's the dust, and on the test drive, he said it was
because the "brakes were wet." .... Yeah, and me crap turned purple and smells of rainbow sherbert.

I've actually been told that for some reason, nobody ever puts some kind of brake lubricant on the brakes to keep them from doing that... I'm changing my brakes this weekend, and I bought lubricant.. I'll keep you posted.

I think i am gonna go the route of changing them to rear disc later on this summer, that noise is to annoying to deal with. Now i get to research how to do it,and i get to lay down all the $$$, yay for me.
