Difference between these front LCA

These are part numbers for lower right control arms on 09-11 US Focus

Motorcraft MCSOE98 (Special suspension W/Standard Suspension)
Motorcraft MCSOE119 (Performance Suspension)

I'm assuming the "performance suspension" refers to the SES/Coupe trim, but what is the ACTUAL difference between the two parts?

I am looking to buy the Raybestos LCA replacements, but if there is something about the "performance" parts that are different, I want to make sure I'm not downgrading to a less-capable part, or worse; buying a part that doesn't fit...

I can't find any documentation actually specifying what the differences are between these two parts. Anyone have a clue as to what separates them?

I forget exactly where but I remember reading for call's the S/SE suspension standard, SEL suspension special, and SES Performance.

The difference being the size of the sway bars and spring stiffness.

That doesn't answer my question about the two different control arms...?

I really don't think there is a difference. Yea, I'd say the same as you= the '10-'11 SES/coupe is the so called performance part. They do use slightly steeper gears thou, auto versions that is.

If there's no difference, why the separate part numbers?

You can't call anyone from the site/Motorcraft and ask?

I did more research and the most I could find is that the bushings are different on the performance suspension, but the arms themselves are physically the same.

There are different part numbers for the bushings on the performance suspension, although it does not appear that you can buy the bushings on their own as they are included with the control arms. Motorcraft lists a $40 price difference between the two different arms.

I really wish I could find out exactly what makes the performance bushings different. They appear to be the same rubber as everything else.

Looking at the bushings, you can't tell the difference in the hardness of the bushings. They look the same.

Yes I know, they LOOK the same. Typically, if there is a performance difference in bushings, they will appear different either in color or texture of the material.

They are squeaky. Rather than buying new bushings I'd rather just buy a full LCA assembly with a new ball joint, but I don't want to buy a replacement with softer rubber... AFAIK, the aftermarket bushing kits are only for 00-04 and there are not aftermarket bushings for the 05-11 front LCA.

Its looking more like I will just have to put up with the squeak or try to lubricate the bushings I've got.
