Rear crossmember compatibility? 2000 ZX3

I was going to upgrade my rear shock, springs, and etc and noticed my rear crossmember with all the control arms is just a rust bucket. I bought this car used about two months ago and before I start tearing it down I rather get a new crossmember somewhere.

From the amount of rust looks like everything is seized and been searching around and lots of mixed info out there.

Are all rear crossmembers compatible from 00-09? Or even up too 2013???

My car is a 2000 zx3 zetec.

You can still buy a brand new one from Ford.

Problem I ran across was at some point the mounting of the Charcoal canister changed.
The early cars had a nut welded to the inside of the subframe. Later cars didn't and had some other way to mount it. Nearest I could tell the canister changed also.

So I ended up finding a good used one and returned my brand new one.

If you order new you'll only get the W/O nut version. I had them order 2 and bother where identical.

I looked into that last year when I was redoing my rear end and a local junkyard quoted me $125. He said it was from an '04 or so, and that it would fit my '02; just one man's opinion...

My car is later than yours but I bought my rear frame with the sway bar attached (car had no sway bar) from Lkq near me for under a hundred bucks.

After further research I think the rear crossmember was the same for all sedan, coupe, & hatch up to 2010 excluding the wagons...but not 100%
