I had bad front wheel bearing in my Focus just a week ago.
Dragging screachy brakes sound when going straight.
Turn left is got quiet, turn Right it got louder.

The amount of wiggle is negligible without using a dial indicator, but the feel of the rotating hub (without rotor on there) was a dead giveaway, felt like a 1970's rollerskate wheel with uncaged bearings.

Can you tell where it's coming from?
The passenger side half shaft has a bearing also. Mine started making noise, then the wheel bearings went, so I did the half shaft and wheel bearings together. Big improvement in noise. The wheel bearings take 5 bolts (not counting the wheel lugs) to take out.

You probably already figured it out, but I will post this for future people with this issue. When a wheel bearing goes, it will almost always make more noise with a load on it. Meaning if it is louder when you turn right, it's the left bearing. Louder when you turn left, it's the right bearing.

Im replacing mine tomarrow jack car up see if wheel shakes when u wiggle it if it moves in anyway from side to side and up n down its barrings

I'm having the same problem but when I jacked the car up and grab the wheel it doesn't rock but it does have the brake drag when I spin it. Also when I accelerate the front passenger side engages faster and more aggressively. Could that be caused by the wheel bearing as well
