zx3 suspension upgrade

So im finally getting around to upgrade my focus's suspension and looking for any input on what kit to go with. Car is all stock right now , except for a intake. I've been looking around and thinking about going with the svt suspension but wasn't sure if I should spend little more for something better. Plans are to start using the car for auto x racing. I plan on doing a few minor engine upgrades and new tires as well. Want a decent overall setup for track but still fine to drive on a normal road. Any and all help is greatly appreciated

Ask yourself, "Do I Feel Lucky?"

I love my SVT setup for street & sporty driving, but if you want to be competitive in Autocross you need to read the rules for the classes you can run in, then maximize the car for the class you pick.

Check out the roadrace & autocross section here for details of what people have done, just to get some ideas.

Sanctioning body's vary in rules, most run SCCA but you need to see who's active in your area.

Occasional Autocross with the DD just for fun & it doesn't matter, many try it & get "hooked" quick so I wanted to warn you not to buy something you might want to replace soon to fit a certain class. Showing up "stock" while you learn is a good plan, better for learning & you can check the competition in classes you might want to move into.

Luck!

KYB Adjustable shocks + H&R Race setup. If you want extra points, grab some sway bars.

This setup was the best Ive seen on a focus. It looks great, doesnt rub (unless you change wheels/tires size), rides well enough for daily, and handles like rails.

I'm not to worried about being to competitive as I'm just gonna be starting out. This will be my "test" car to learn how to drive on the track then if I enjoy it I'll go into it head first and do a lot of upgrading to make myself competive in my class. Where is a good place to pick up the act kit? I found some on amazon for like 300 then there is c-f-m that has them for little more. Anything I need to watch for?
