Vibration from the Steering Wheel

Sup guys. I love giving my input on here, and I especially enjoy the input community gives as a whole. So hopefully I can be on the receiving end. ...wait. Anyway....

While up at Los Angeles freeway speeds (i.e. 60/70mph+), my steering wheel begins to vibrate. But not like crazy out of control vibrating. Its more uniform. That is, its vibrates every 2-3 seconds, on beat, every time. Any ideas?
My first thought is the engine mounts (but then it would be vibrating Less "on beat", or possibly a spark plug (but they're new).

Thanx ahead of time fellas.

I wish I could help with this one, but I am actually experiencing the exact same thing. I have just kind of blown it off though as it has not seemed to gotten any worse. I hope someone can chime in and give you a helping hand here, and I can get information on it to.

How's the front anti sway bar and bushings? Mines been out for some time and it's really only affected at high speed, like you said about 65mph... I'm not to concerned with it ATM as I rarely drive over 60, I've been waiting until I do a full suspension overhaul... But mine is a little more continuous than your and not so "uniform"... So... IDK...

@cotym my suspension is poopy, but its not that, I checked it. I've pretty much checked the easy stuff to get to. I definitely wana swap in a suspension kit with the steeda coils or ford racing coils, but thats a different discussion.
@skypilot that's an easy fix, ill report back next week after I get an alignment and balance. But just in case, let the brainstorming commence!

One way to help figure out if it is the drivetrain, or the chassis:

Slip it into neutral while it happens, does it go away as the RPM's drop or does it do it because of vehicle speed?

Nope, not the DT. =l . I've done the 'neutral test' at high speeds (coming to a slow down), and she still rides a bit hard. Its not crazy unbearable, or Bad, per say. I've always figure "im at 106000 miles, might as well just upgrade everything til it goes away" =P

Assuming vibrations get worse with speed:

Vibration in the steering wheel means front wheel unballanced.
Vibration you feel in the seat is rear wheel unbalanced.

What if wheels are balanced? Any other ideas besides swaybar and bushings?
