Hi Guys,

sorry for thread revival, have a simlar question to the OP, thought it would be better to use this thread.

I currently have Sachs' dampers/shocks in the car, they've done about 120k km's (about 70-80k miles i thnk) and i need some replacements.

I have the Eiback Pro Kit for springs and the Eiback sways. How would the Ford Racing Springs compare to the Eibach ones for this kit?

Time for my Vogtland plug, if ride quality is important to you (and sounds like it is...). They lower the car 1.4 on later years, progressive rates so they ride like stock until you hit some surface irregularities, and they'll stiffen up quite a bit - my son has them on his 2000 sedan.

On oem replacement struts, strut bar, and urethane control arm bushings, the car has pretty sharp handling but still rides quite well.

I've got them on my '12 focus, and on my 86 325es. All on stock dampers.

A good strut upgrade like a Bilstein or Koni would up the handling on these springs, but for a daily I don't think they can be beat.

Edit - Doh! Didn't see this was an old thread...

If you like how they control the springs why change brands?

The eibach pro springs & frpp's springs have a similar drop= about 1.4''. If the springs work good, I'd just replace the struts/shocks w/ Sachs.
